Style of Ceremony:

As a wedding minister I feel blessed to take part in your ceremony and since it the couple’s special day I work with the bride and groom to make their ceremony fit their needs. So if you need the ceremony done in both Spanish and English or either language I can create that ceremony for you. If you would like less religious verses or more religious rituals I can also incorporate them into the ceremony. My style is very flexible and I work with the couple to plan the wedding script that is perfect for each couple.

I usually like to meet with the couple beforehand or if that is not possible I can email them a copy of the wedding script that I have specialized just for them. We go over the script and discuss such things like; whether you and your fiancée would like to read your own vows or just have me read the standard vows. I also go over additional ceremonial rituals like lighting of unity candles or wine and letters ceremony.
I charge a fee for the entire ceremony event and that includes getting the marriage license back to court and filing it after I fill it out. I also can do the wedding rehearsal dinner for an additional fee. This will include me going to the location of the rehearsal and walking the entire wedding party through the steps for the actual wedding. I know the day of the wedding is stressful and we expect the wedding to go as planned and start at the time stated the event begins or within 15-20 minutes, however there will be an additional charge of $25 per half hour delay.

Wedding License Information:

In order for me to officiate the wedding ceremony the couple must already have a wedding license from the county in which they live in. Once you have the wedding license I can perform the ceremony.
There are 2 types of wedding licenses: 1) Confidential and 2) Regular. With the regular one you need at least 2 witnesses to sign the marriage license and the confidential you don’t need any witnesses. Also when you go get the license together at the county building, make sure you tell the County Clerek whether the bride or your partner will be changing their last name or not.
The wedding license is valid for 90 days and expires after the 90th day you get it – so if you are planning to get married, make sure you get the license within the three-month period before your wedding date.

If you like to book with me for your wedding date or you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or you can also call me at 831-214-8639 so we can make an appointment to meet.

Thanks
Blessings, Jack Alcantara, Wedding Minister
